The luxury housing market in the West Valley is hitting a new level — the $2 million home is becoming much more common.
Nowhere is this price point more present than in Peoria, where 22 out of the 40 homes in the West Valley with a price tag of $2 million or more over the last year sold, according to Arizona Multiple Listings Service.
To be more accurate, all those Peoria homes were located in the city’s northern ZIP code of 85383, which has developed into the West Valley’s hot spot for luxury homes in the last few years. At one point, many of those homes were commanding around $1 million. Now that number is pushing the $2 million mark.
