The 2025 West Valley Heart Walk will bring residents together in Goodyear for an event that combines community engagement, heart health awareness, and life-saving education.
Created by the American Heart Association and locally supported by Sun Health and Abrazo Health, the walk begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov 15, at Goodyear Civic Square, with registration opening at 9 a.m.
For Ruben Castro, CEO of Abrazo Scottsdale Campus and chair of this year’s Heart Walk, the event carries a deeply personal meaning. His mother’s experiences with heart health inspired him to take on a leadership role for the walk.
