West Valley Girl Scout troop claims top cookie sale spot this year with 31K boxes

All proceeds stay local to Girl Scouts in Arizona

Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is celebrating the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season after thousands of girls across central and northern Arizona sold more than 2.3 million boxes of cookies.

And the leader of the pack came from Peoria —Troop 558 sold a total of 31,408 boxes.

From Jan. 18 through March 1, the Girl Scout Cookie Program empowered girls across more than 90 communities including the Navajo Nation and Hopi Lands to build business and leadership skills, support local communities and fuel year-round experiences through proceeds that stay 100% local to Girl Scouts in Arizona, according to a news release.
