West Valley city on track for remodeled city hall opening this spring

Construction continues on schedule for the redevelopment of Glendale’s City Hall and should lead to a major milestone in each of the next three months.

City Architect Eddie Garcia said during the March 24 council workshop the $94 million Downtown Campus Reinvestment Project is less than a month away from substantial completion of the physical building. That date remains April 14.

May 18 is the targeted move-in date for city employees and council members. Garcia said a grand opening event and ribbon cutting ceremony is on target for mid-June.
