The West Valley Chorale will hold auditions for its 40th anniversary spring season performances from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2 at Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd.
Each audition is a 15-minute, low-key process. The singer should prepare a song to sing. An accompanist will be available, so bring an extra copy of the music.
All are welcome to audition but basses and tenors are especially encouraged to apply.
The West Valley Chorale rehearses from 2:45 to 5 p.m. Mondays at Shepherd of the Hills, beginning rehearsals for the April 2 and 4 concerts on Monday, Jan. 8.
All auditioning will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster(s) at the audition. Complete an audition request form atwestvalleychoraleaz.org.
Annual dues are $50.
Individuals will be contacted to set up an audition time. Alternate dates can be arranged if unavailable Jan. 2.
The West Valley Chorale is a Surprise 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts organization comprised of auditioned singers from 11 communities throughout Phoenix and the West Valley.
