The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for an overnight closure of westbound U.S. Highway 60 (Superstition Freeway) at Mountain View Road in Apache Junction, approximately two miles west of Gold Canyon, from 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, for overhead sign maintenance.

For a detour, drivers can exit at Mountain View Road, travel north before using westbound Broadway Avenue and southbound Goldfield Road to reconnect with US60, according to a release.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution at all times around maintenance personnel and equipment in all work zones.
