SUN CITY WEST - Wellington James (Jim) Applebee, Sr., passed away on August 16, 2016, at the age of 95. Jim was born in Union City, Pennsylvania on February 17, 1921. Jim was a resident of Sun City West, Arizona for the past 29 years. He is survived by his son, Wellington James Applebee, Jr. and wife, Katherine Applebee, Montana; grandson, Wellington James Applebee, III and wife, Pamela Applebee; and great grandsons, Wellington James Applebee, IV, and Keith Charles Applebee, Montana; granddaughter, Erica Hanson and husband, Mathew; and great granddaughters, Karly, KaIle, and Kasey Hanson, Montana; son, George William Applebee (deceased) and daughter in law, Mary Ann, Ohio; grandson, Rick Applebee; and great grandson, Nathan, Ohio; grandson, George William Applebee and wife, Allison; and great grandchildren, George III and Sal. Ohio; granddaughter, Shelia Evensen and husband Ed; and great grandchildren, Samantha, Eric, and Eren, Ohio; stepdaughter, Betty Taddeo, Ohio Jim will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
