Well-located Downtown Chandler restaurant closes

Truland Burgers & Greens closed its downtown Chandler location May 27 after its regular Saturday hours, according to its Facebook page.

The original Truland Burgers & Greens in Tucson will remain open. Features includ chopped salads and hormone- and antibiotic-free beef.

The loss will create a vacancy on the northwest corner of Arizona and Buffalo, where Truland had been since it opened in January 2020. Flix Brewhouse, Over Easy, and The Screamery ice cream shop were all part of the brand-new Overstreet development.

‘‘We are so incredibly grateful to our entire staff for their hard work and dedication, and to our customers for their support over the last 3+ years,’’ Truland Chandler posted to Facebook.

No explanation accompanied the signoff. The original Tucson location debuted in 2016.
