311 new weekly COVID-19 cases in Litchfield Park brings tally to 2,548

County community spread remains substantial

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported 311 new COVID-19 cases in Litchfield Park 85340 over the week ending Friday, Jan. 8, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 2,548.

That represents a 13.9% increase over the 236 new cases reported last Friday and a 27.3% increase over Dec. 25, when 172 new cases were reported.

The ZIP code includes the city of Litchfield Park and unincorporated Maricopa County. The state does not separate cases by incorporated and unincorporated areas.
