Weekly COVID-19 cases in Goodyear up 600 to 6,569

The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of COVID-19 cases in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes was 6,569 as of Friday, Jan. 1, a 10.1% increase over last Friday and a 2.33% increase over Thursday.

That represents an increase of 600 new cases over the week and 150 cases overnight. The number of new cases reported last Friday was 451.
