Weekly COVID-19 cases in Goodyear up 549 to 4,967

ADHS director urges people to distance, wear masks

The number of new weekly cases reported in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes continues to skyrocket, with 549 new cases reported by the Arizona Department of Public Health over the week ending Friday, Dec. 11.

The number of new weekly cases reported by ADHS on Dec. 4 was 383, up from 277 reported Nov. 27 and 214 reported Nov. 20.

This week’s 549 cases represent a 12.43% increase over last Friday and a 2.05% increase over Thursday.
