Weekend work narrows Loop 202 in Mesa

Eastbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to one lane between Higley and Power roads in Mesa beginning Saturday morning.

From 5 a.m. Sept. 9 to 5 a.m. Sept. 11, state transportation officials said drivers should allow for extra time and consider alternate routes, including eastbound US 60.

Eastbound Loop 202 also will be narrowed to one lane overnight between Higley and Power roads from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
