The Broadway Curve improvement project will require westbound and eastbound closures this weekend along US 60.
Motorists should plan ahead and expect to use detours, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Here is what to expect:
1) Westbound US 60 to close between Loop 101 Price Freeway and I-10 on Nov. 1-2.
Westbound US 60 will be closed between Loop 101 and I-10 from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday for sign work. At the same time, the ramps from Loop 101 to westbound US 60 will be closed.
In addition, the westbound US 60 on-ramps at Country Club Drive, Alma School Road, Dobson Road, McClintock Drive, Rural Road and Mill Avenue will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Saturday.
Westbound US 60 to westbound I-10 detour: Use northbound Loop 101 to westbound Loop 202 to access westbound I-10 beyond the closure.
Airport access: Drivers traveling west on US 60 heading to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport should use northbound Loop 101 to westbound Loop 202 and use the Sky Harbor Boulevard entrance.
2) Eastbound US 60 to close between I-10 and Mill Avenue Nov. 2-4.
Eastbound US 60 will be closed between I-10 and Mill Avenue from 10 p.m. Saturday until 4 a.m. Monday for bridge and sign work. At the same time, the ramps from I-10 to eastbound US 60 will be closed.
The eastbound US 60 on-ramp at Priest Drive and the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Baseline Road also will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
Westbound I-10 to eastbound US 60 detour: Use eastbound Loop 202 to northbound Loop 101 or use northbound SR 143 to eastbound Loop 202 to southbound Loop 101 to access US 60 beyond the closure.
