Weekend road work narrows I-10 lanes near Sky Harbor Airport

Posted

Interstate 10 will be narrowed to two lanes in both directions between Broadway Road and State Route 143 near Sky Harbor Airport beginning Friday night.

Crews will be doing bridge work from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday for bridge work, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The westbound I-10 on-ramp at Broadway Road, southbound SR 143 on-ramp at University Drive and westbound US 60 HOV ramp to westbound I-10 will be closed.

ADOT officials said drivers should consider using the westbound I-10 on-ramp at 40th Street as needed while other nearby ramps are closed. There will be signs for additional local detour routes.
