Weekend Arizona construction, utility work closes Loop 101, 202 sections

East Valley, West Valley affected by ADOT projects

PHOENIX – Several freeway improvement projects in the Phoenix area will require closures or lane restrictions this weekend along several freeways, state transportation officials said.

Drivers should prepare for detours from Friday night until Monday morning, Jan. 30-Feb. 2:

  • Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between Cave Creek Road and State Route 51 in north Phoenix from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for a ramp-widening project.
