Weekend freeway projects target 9 Valley locations

PHOENIX – Work begins Friday night on nine freeway projects that will close lanes and restrict traffic through the weekend.

The Arizona Department of Transportation on Thursday announced the following work from Friday night, Sept. 18, until Monday morning, Sept. 21:

Eastbound I-10 will be closed between the Interstate 17 “Stack” interchange and Washington/Jefferson streets off-ramp from 9 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday for tunnel maintenance.
