We need clarity, not victim-blaming, in ICE shooting

OPINION — Regarding Carolyn Copeland’s letter, Minnesota mother should have used better judgment:

It is neither compassionate nor constructive to claim Renee Good “deserved” to die simply because she did not comply with an order whose legality remains disputed. 

Her death should compel us to demand clarity and fairness, not to justify assigning blame without examining how and why this confrontation unfolded.
