Wayne was born in Valley County, Nebraska on February 16, 1930. He passed away in Sun City, Arizona on January 16, 2021. Surviving family includes his wife, Joyce Goff of Sun City, Arizona; children: Allen (Shelley) Goff and Jane (Scott) Nelsen; grandchildren: Ashley Goff, Spencer (Micaela) Goff and Jay (Jenny) Nelsen.
