About 40-acres of turf are set to come up at a Sun City West golf course.
The first phase was completed with the addition of the new water pump at Grandview Golf Course, 14260 W. Meeker Blvd. Now the mapping is complete and residents can visibly see the markings with flags where the turf will be removed and replaced with desert landscape.
“Everything from the property edge to about 25-30 feet out will be removed,” Todd Patty, Recreation Centers of Sun City West environmental services manager, explained.
