An expensive change order for a water main replacement in Chandler was recently approved by the Chandler City Council.
At its May 25 meeting, the Council approved a change order for B&F Contracting, Inc., for Chandler Boulevard and Dobson Road sewer and water improvements, in an amount not to exceed about $7.2 million.
As part of the project, about 8,500 linear feet of water mains — prioritized for replacement in the city’s 2018 water master plan — will be replaced from west of Dobson on Chandler Boulevard east to Chippewa Place.
