Water leak closes Phoenix police headquarters

A “major water leak” has damaged several floors of the Phoenix police headquarters at 100 W. Washington, city officials said Friday morning.

“During the closure, personnel will work from alternate sites to ensure continuity of service to the community,” a police department release stated. The public works and fire departments are working to repair the damage.

The Public Records and Services Unit will be closed to the public due to damage, including in‑person requests related to towing and alarms, officials said.
