Water franchise agreement in Peoria will be on November ballot

Peoria voters will have one more thing to vote on in the upcoming election.

Peoria City Council May 11 approved placing a franchise agreement with Epcor Water Arizona Inc. on the November ballot.

In 2010, Peoria voter’s approved the original franchise agreement under Arizona-American Water Co. for a term of 15 years. Epcor purchased Arizona-American Water Co. in 2012.
