Water could flow for RVF residents this week

Some homeowners left out of water deal

Water is not yet back on for residents of Rio Verde Foothills who rely on hauled water but the agreements to get that done are inching forward — for some.

The Rio Verde Foothills Standpipe District has an agreement with private water provider EPCOR to provide water to the district, though EPCOR is still working on getting the water.

“This water will be new water that is not coming from Scottsdale’s water portfolio,” EPCOR spokeswoman Rebecca Stenholm said in an email to the Daily Independent.
