Wanda Alice Lougee, (89), passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home on December 13, 2018. Wanda, born August 12, 1929, was raised in Seattle, WA.Following High school she attended University of Washington. The summer of 49, during college, Wanda met Martin (Marty) Edwin Lougee while working at Lake Quinault Lodge and they married December 9, 1949. They raised 4 children and lived in Klamath Falls, OR, before settling in Fircrest, WA. Wanda worked in office management and bookkeeping for several local family owned companies and met many lifelong friends. Wanda and Marty moved to Sun City West, AZ in 1995, to stay young and active in the warm desert sun. Wanda enjoyed golfing and playing cards with family and friends. Wanda is survived by her husband, Marty; children: Steven of Washougal, WA, Leslie (Nick) Hartl of Morgan Hill, CA, Douglas (Cheryl Ancell) of Atlanta, GA; and sister, Beverly Perkins of Lynnwood, WA.Wanda was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Jo Baer, December 2015. Wanda was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Wanda, loved dearly by all who met her, had a wonderful life that ended quickly after celebrating her 69th wedding anniversary with the love of her life. A memorial service has not been scheduled at this time.
