Heather Wallace, executive director of educational services for the Apache Junction Unified School District, will take over as interim superintendent.
A formal Freedom of Information Act request emailed June 17 is required to reveal the amount Wallace will be paid, the school district public information officer said in an email.
When asked when the interim superintendent’s contract would be posted online like former Superintendent Dr. Krista Anderson’s was, the emailed reply was “there is no requirement the contract be placed on the website.”
