Unfortunately, other individuals, especially people on pedal bikes (not motorcycles) seem to think they own the road although they also have no license or insurance.
They frequently yell at us to get on the sidewalk. According to the big yellow sign on Beardsley near El Mirage, cars, pedal bikes and walkers are all supposed to share the road.

Walkers have a place on Valley roads

My wife and I run or walk on the streets of Sun City West. We typically go against traffic for safety’s sake.
Unfortunately, other individuals, especially people on pedal bikes (not motorcycles) seem to think they own the road although they also have no license or insurance.
They frequently yell at us to get on the sidewalk. According to the big yellow sign on Beardsley near El Mirage, cars, pedal bikes and walkers are all supposed to share the road.
We also get nasty comments from automobile drivers, but it is mostly the pedal bikers. We all own the road.
