Queen Creek Unified voters down $286M bond proposal

Queen Creek Unified School District residents voted not to approve a $286 million bond proposal.

The no vote came in at 59% against the measure.

The bond would not have increased property taxes. Instead, the bonds would have been sold in incremental values across several years so the overall tax rate would not be affected.
