Sun City West’s Sundome Plaza has once again is a hub of holiday generosity.
The plaza features Angel Trees for Veterans program, brightening the season for veterans living in VA hospitals and living centers in Phoenix and Prescott. Veterans in transition homes like M.A.N.A., U.S. Vets, Veterans First and the State of Arizona Nursing Home also are served.
Originally started and managed by the Sundome Plaza Merchants Association, the program began with two Christmas trees placed at various locations throughout the plaza, moved regularly from store to store so shoppers had multiple opportunities to take part.
