Volkswagen North Scottsdale partners with local animal rescue on adoptions

HALO Animal Rescue, 3227 E. Bell Road, suite D151, has been partnering with Volkswagen North Scottsdale and its team every second Saturday of the month to help find HALO’s adoptable dogs their forever homes.

Potential adopters can find their puppy Valentine 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, in the dog-friendly showroom at Volkswagen North Scottsdale, 7001 E. Chauncey Lane. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and sterilized.

“We here at Volkswagen North Scottsdale want to help our community and what better way than to help our local animal shelter by finding them their new homes,” said Mike Druken, general manager of Volkswagen North Scottsdale.

HALO (Helping Animals Live On) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1994 by Michel Herstam and Heather Allen in Phoenix. HALO provides temporary shelter to abandoned cats and dogs until they can be adopted into permanent homes. HALO is a limited admission or "no-kill" facility.

“We are so grateful to be partnering with Volkswagen North Scottsdale. They are a wonderful dog-friendly dealership who really cares about our mission,” added Heather Allen, HALO’s president and CEO.
