Vivian Sarah Ridenour, of Sun City, AZ, was born March 4, 1920 in North Braddock, PA, daughter of Irene and Carl Anderson, passed away on November 24, 2018.She lived a very full life of 98 years and nicked named "Breezy" at a young age because she was always a busy woman.Vivian finished her time with us at Wooddale Village. Both she and husband, Dan (deceased), attended American Lutheran Church and were involved with golf and bowling. Vivian won numerous awards in golf while part of the Lakes West Women's Niners.Vivian lived in numerous places after leaving the Pittsburgh area including Terra Haute, IN, Lancaster, OH, Northbrook, IL, Toronto, Ontario, Hindsdale, IL, Kalamazoo, MI and finally Sun City.Vivian's husband, Dan, passed away in 1989. He spent his career in the food industry. They had three children: Dan (wife Jutta) of Antioch, IL, who passed away in 2014, Nancy Commins (husband Bob) of Saratoga, CA and Ron (wife Bonnie) of Nazareth, PA. She is lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.There will be a memorial service at Wooddale Village in February 2019. Each of the children will have their own memorials close to where they live.
