Vistancia Fry’s Marketplace in north Peoria inches closer to groundbreaking

Gas station, site plan near approval

Signs show that residents in Vistancia are closer to seeing a groundbreaking on the 123,000-square-foot Fry’s Marketplace, planned as the anchor of the community’s commercial core.

Right now, the 320 acres planned for the commercial core at Vistancia Boulevard and El Mirage Road remain vacant.

However, a sign of life is that the site plan for the Fry’s is nearly completed. The site plan is a set of drawings that allows for building to commence.
