Virtual meeting on EVs set for July 14

Public input requested

Arizona roadways are about to get amped.

Over a five-year period, the Arizona Department of Transportation is expected to get $76.5 million to add “publicly accessible EV charging stations along Arizona’s designated alternative fuel” routes.

First, ADOT officials are asking for public input during a virtual public meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 14. Residents can access the meeting through the internet or by phone.
