A 66-year-old Virginia man was arrested last week on charges he threatened Vice President Kamala Harris and Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer among others.
The man, Frank Lucio Carillo, is accused of making the threats on the social media platform, GETTR, according to an Aug. 5 press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office notified the FBI’s Phoenix Office of “potential threats being made on the social media platform” on July 27, the press release stated.
