Following more than 15 years of waiting for a large shopping project in the Prasada area of Surprise, the Village at Prasada fell into place quickly.
In mid-June, a bit more than six months after the project’s announcement, developer Simon CRE revealed Village at Prasada has commitments for 100% of its space. This 700,000-square-foot project is south of Waddell Road, north of Cactus Road and east of Loop 303.
Simon CRE CEO Josh Simon said his Scottsdale-based company did not forecast this much demand when announcing the center in December. Plus the stores fill noticeable gaps.
