Vietnam memorial wall has daily events planned in Surprise

Volunteers also wanted for local stop on replica tour

Daily events will be part of the schedule in April when Surprise welcomes “The Wall That Heals” — and volunteers are wanted to help out.

The three-quarter-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be part of a free public exhibit and Mobile Education Center from Thursday, April 9, to Sunday, April 12, at Mark Coronado Park, 15960 N. Bullard Ave.

The memorial that honors more than 3 million Americans who served in the Vietnam War will be open 24 hours a day until 2 p.m. on April 12.
