Vernon L. Peterson, 80Vernon L. Peterson of Sun City West, died March 26, 2007. He was born in Duluth, Minn., and served in the Navy in the South Pacific. After graduating from Michigan Tech, he worked with U.S. Steel for 17 years before joining Bechtel Corporation for another 17 ½ years. He is survived by his wife, Aris; sons, Steve (Connie), Randy (Debbie); seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
