Venice: Calls out inaccuracy, partisanship

This is regarding Darryl French’s recent letter stating that Mark Kelly wasn’t wearing a mask in the picture on the front page of your newspaper (“Aren’t they supposed to wear masks?” Daily Independent, July 21, 2020).

Had Mr. French actually read the caption of that picture, he would have noted that the picture was taken Feb. 14.

What I didn’t read in his comments is why the president had only been seen once wearing a mask and is very rarely seen practicing social distancing.

Shouldn’t that comparison be noted in his comments? One would think so, so that it could be seen as non-partisan.
