Valley’s Pendergast Elementary District expands partnership with EdTech Company

Pendergast Elementary School District in the West Valley announced it has deepened its partnership with Discovery Education.
In this new phase of the district’s multiyear relationship with Discovery Education, students and teachers in K-5 classrooms districtwide now have access to the company’s award-winning Mystery Science product.
Educators and students across the district also have access to a number of other Discovery Education solutions, including Experience, Social Studies Techbook, and more.
“We are excited to deepen our collaboration with Discovery Education to enhance science instruction in our K-5 classrooms,” Dr. Catherine Linddhardt, Pendergast Elementary School District’s STEAM and technology integration specialist, shared in a press release. “Discovery Education’s classroom-tested resources will increase our teachers’ ability to ignite younger students’ curiosity and drive deeper engagement in instruction.”
Pendergast Elementary School District serves the communities of Phoenix, Glendale and Avondale. The district boundaries are from Glendale Avenue to the north and I-10 to the south, 83rd Avenue to the east and the Agua Fria River to the west.
The district serves approximately 9,000 preschool through eighth grade students on 12 campuses.
