Educators back at it Friday

Thousands more Arizona teachers and supporters marched in downtown Phoenix on Friday, seeking higher wages and better funding for education. Governor Doug Ducey thus far has not spoken directly to the educators.

KIDS AFFECTED

I am a teacher. I don’t care who fixes this problem, but I will stay my course until each party sits down and makes things right for the children of Arizona. They are the ones obstructing kids from getting a fair deal. — @vicencinas

MOMENTUM

Awesome Day 2! We gotta keep this momentum going strong! We are here for the future of our kids and for us! — @Grizfan6

STUDENTS FIRST

While we are at the Capitol we need to remember why we are here. The kids. Not to support Democrats. Not to support Republicans. We are here for funding. — @AZEdUnited

POLITICS?

Take the political agenda away and we will accomplish great things for education in AZ. — @jjyenta

WHERE IS DUCEY?

Any governor is better than the one we have. Gosh, he couldn’t even stay at work yesterday. — @DreadSkairipa
