An investigation is underway after a man was found dead Friday on the driveway of his home in east Phoenix, police said.
James Arthur Eaves, 51, died at the scene near 46th Street and Calle Del Medio, and his brother, 49-year-old Christopher Arthur Eaves, has been arrested as the suspect in the shooting, according to a Phoenix Police Department release.
Officers arrived at the home about 8 a.m. March 21 and saw the victim on the driveway with at least one gunshot wound.
During an investigation, Christopher Eaves arrived at the scene with other family members. He was arrested.
Homicide detectives assumed the investigation and attempted to interview him, but he declined to answer questions, according to the release.
Police said Christopher Eaves would be booked on multiple charges, including murder. The motive is unknown, authorities said.
