Valley restaurants hope for home run from spring training business

It’s that time of year where temperatures start to heat up while other parts of the country stay cold.

That’s one of the special reasons why Arizona is one of only two states that host Major League Baseball’s spring training season. Like every season, there is an expectation that the games will bring in thousands of fans into the metro Phoenix stadiums.

Not only can fans expect to watch some of their favorite teams and players, they can enjoy some flavors and treats the state has to offer.
