Valley orgs set to receive $2M in homelessness funding

More funding is coming to combat homelessness in Maricopa County.

On Wednesday, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved about $2 million in funding to support “essential homelessness” services.

The funding will be awarded to a variety of local organizations that will deliver street outreach, emergency shelter and rapid rehousing services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
