Valley nonprofits — from those that help children to food banks — were speaking out against a Trump administration effort to cut taxes along with the funding for various programs they said help lower income Arizonans.
Nonprofits like Ability 360, Children’s Action Alliance, Arizona Food Bank Network and others gathered in Ability 360’s facility and called on Congress to vote against the bill, which, after several days, passed the House on Thursday afternoon.
