A Valley man was indicted in what officials said was a road rage shooting that left a man and his young daughter dead.
Tyrone Chilly, 28, was indicted on eight counts, including two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted second-degree murder in the shooting death of Quincy Polk and his 8-year-old daughter. The shooting also left a woman and a 5-year-old girl wounded.
Chilly and Polk were involved in a physical fight near 19th Avenue and Baseline Road on Nov. 22, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The fight also involved a woman in Polk’s car.

Chilly and Polk were involved in a physical fight near 19th Avenue and Baseline Road on Nov. 22, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The fight also involved a woman in Polk’s car.
After the fight ended, MCAO officials said in a press release each went back to their car, but Chilly pulled out a gun and fired shots into Polk’s sport-utility vehicle. The woman with Polk got out and returned fire. Inside the car were three chidlren.
The full list of charges in the grand jury indictment against Chilly are:
• One count of first-degree murder
• One count of first-degree murder and dangerous crime against children
• One count of attempt to commit second-degree murder
• One count of aggravated assault and dangerous crime against children
• One count of aggravated assault
• Three counts of endangerment
