Anyone who has attempted to make any type of medical appointment in the past couple of years in the Valley knows how short-staffed and backed up things are in the medical business.
A handful of the Valley medical organizations that serve Arizona residents have specific positions beyond those in the statewide doctor and nursing shortage that are tough to fill or where they currently need multiple people. Other organizations simply seem to need more people at all levels and specialties.
The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need to continually bring more people into medical fields, but also the need for training and entry programs and ways to retain and keep people in the organization.
