Valley gas prices holding steady

Valley gas prices haven’t seen a long-term surge since the U.S. hit nuclear targets in Iran earlier this month.

In Glendale, gas prices are hovering at $3.42 per gallon on average, while prices are averaging $3.41 per gallon in Peoria, according to the AAA website.

“Even with everything happening, oil prices have been averaging in the (mid-$60s for a barrel of oil),” said Julian Parades, a AAA spokesman. “It’s been pretty cheap.”
