I see articles on the news about Arizona's water supply, but I also see ads for the development in Mesa called Golfland Sunsplash, where there are several slides and a huge manmade lake where you can surf.
In my opinion, the politicians do not care as long as the development brings in money. We live in a desert, not a land that gets rain almost all year round. I wonder how many gallons of water are wasted just in evaporation?
Now the politicians have approved the development of the gigantic resort VAI, just south of the Cardinals stadium, and there will be a gigantic lake and water features.
Not to mention the huge housing developments going on across the Phoenix Valley. Wake up politicians; maybe they will when a gallon of water is more expensive than a gallon of gas! Sad, greedy world we live in today.
