Valley Toyota dealers last month gave a total of $50,000 to five regional food banks to help them during the holiday season.

Each food bank received $10,000 during presentations the third week in November.

The food banks that received the donations were:

  • St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix
  • St. Vincent de Paul in Tempe
  • United Food Bank in Mesa
  • Desert Mission Food Bank in Scottsdale
  • Agua Fria Food Bank in Avondale

“These food banks are lifelines for so many Arizonans, and our dealerships are honored to play a small part in supporting their critical work,” said Kamal Charef, president of the Valley Toyota Dealers Association, in a release. “This community is our home. We’re committed to helping the people who rely on us - not just as customers, but as neighbors.”
