Vaccination POD opens for health care workers

Site at Del E. Webb in SCW

The campus of Del E. Webb in Sun City West will serve as a point of distribution for the COVID-19 vaccine for health care workers only starting today.

Included in Phase 1A of the vaccine are health care workers, emergency medical services workers and long-term care facility staff and residents.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Zane Hagen said during the Dec. 16 PORA Roads, Traffic and Safety Committee meeting, anyone who has not been registered for the distribution will be turned away.
