Utility work requires closures Sunday at SR 347, Riggs Road: ADOT

Drivers should expect delays Sunday during intermittent full intersection closures at State Route 347 and Riggs Road, state transportation officials said.

Utility crews will be working from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 31, and the closures are expected to last up to 15 minutes each time, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The work is necessary to prepare for the SR 347 Improvement Project, which is scheduled to begin construction this summer.
